Hello and welcome! In this blog post, I will be giving some books recommendations to all of my bookworms out there!

If you love reading and are interested in mystery and romance novels, then you may or may not like these recs.

Let's get started then!

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

I LOVE this book so much! This book goes back to the 1950s where a very famous actress decides to finally reveal about the secrets in her life to a journalist in modern day 2017.

She reveals why she had seven husbands in total and let me tell you, the plot twist in the end is something I never expected AT ALL.

This book is a historical fiction novel with also romance included. Trust me, this book is AMAZING and you won't regret reading it.

The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas

Okay, listen. I'm not typically a person who reads romance novels all too much but this book is a must read.

I wasn't expecting much when I first got the book but I decided to give it a try anyway and boy, am I glad that I did.

It has everything, from an enemies to lovers and a fake dating trope to an "I've always loved you" love confession and oh my goodness, it's just so enjoyable.

And the characters are just so cute in general. I love Catalina and Aaron.

So, even if romance isn't typically a genre you like, I suggest giving it a try, anyway. I loved every moment of it and would definitely reread it. I loved EVERY second.

The Shaadi Set-Up by Lillie Vale

Another romance novel...BUT HEAR ME OUT.

So, I am South Asian and whenever I find a good desi book, I WILL read it. This was no exception.

Even if you aren't South Asian or just desi in general, I would still tell you to give this book a try.

It's basically second chance romance and miscommunication and first love and everything about this book is just perfect. I loved getting to know the characters and they're so adorable.

However, the miscommunication part always made me a bit angry but nonetheless, there's a happy ending and I would definitely reread.

So, I suggest reading this book!

The Mindf*ck Series by C. M. Owens and S. T. Abby

Okay, before I get into this one, just make sure to search up the trigger warnings in this series because it gets intense. Like, really intense.

There are five books in the series and each book is 100 pages long which is absolutely great because I love short books. I also love long books with SHORT chapters in general.

The main character is basically a serial killer and her boyfriend is the FBI agent. And guess what? He's working on the case where her girlfriend is the serial killer - and he has yet to find out.

But, she is killing these men for a certain reason and the actual reason was honestly heartbreaking and disgusting at the same time but they deserved it.

So, I would recommend reading it but please don't unless you have checked out the trigger warnings!

A Good Girl's Guide to Murder Trilogy by Holly Jackson

Saved the best for last...

THIS IS LITERALLY MY FAVORITE BOOK SERIES EVER. Everything about this book series is perfection and I LOVE a good mystery book.

Plot twists after plot twists and I seriously could not get enough. I WILL reread it in the future when I have the time.

I love both Pippa and Ravi so much and they are so adorable. They are literally my favorite book couple ever and I love how they team up together to solve crimes.

I have recommended this book to literally everyone and I will not stop. Everything about these books is just...It's just so special to me. I don't think there has been a day I haven't thought about this book and it's been almost a year since I've read it.

I won't say anything about this book because I think everyone deserves to read this book for the first time without knowing anything.

So, if you have never read this book...You NEED to read all three books ASAP. You won't regret it.

That's it!

I hope some of these recs convinced you to try and read the books. I've enjoyed all of these wholeheartedly so maybe you will too! Of course, everyone's preferences are different and that's okay.

I would definitely love to know more book recommendations so let me know if you have any book recs for me. Any genre is fine.

Have a splendid day, everyone!
