I have been a Marvel fan for a very long time now and I definitely do miss the old Marvel era.

But that's not to say I hate the new era of the MCU.

I've seen everywhere where people are hating on the new Marvel projects because they're more "comedic" than the actual plot. Which, I don't understand because there's a good combination of humor and action?

I think people's expectations after Spider-Man: No Way Home were WAY too high and after all of their theories turned out to be garbage, they began to hate all of the projects.

The new phase of Marvel is honestly incredible in my opinion. So many people said they hated Thor: Love and Thunder, but personally, I loved it.

I can hear some people already telling me I have terrible movie taste.

I believe my taste is great to me, thank you very much.

I loved the movie Black Widow, and I think it showed us some very important lessons. Like human and child trafficking are a real thing, people. Dreykov is very scary and dangerous because there are people like him IN REAL LIFE. When you start saying the movie is bad and that there was no actual purpose to it, think about it again before you spit out nonsense.

Even though the first Captain Marvel came out in the Endgame era, I still don't understand the hate for her. She's a brave, confident, and strong superhero and if your only reason for hating her is because she's cocky and narcissistic...have you met Tony Stark?

It's just pure misogyny at this point.

I think people should learn to enjoy movies and the tv series for fun instead of criticizing every little thing they see on screen. This isn't real life. It's all fictional. So stop being so serious about it not being exactly like the comics.

Of course, it's nice to see similar scenes from the comics be adapted into the movies, but it's really not all that serious if it isn't. We already know it's quite different than the comics.

My all time favorite superhero is definitely Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow. I wish we got to see her own trilogy because there would have been so many greats plots the movies could have been about. We could have learned more about what occurred in Budapest!

My heart hurts knowing that Natasha, Tony, and Steve aren't alive anymore. And the fact that it's ACTUALLY 2023 this year, which means they're really gone. I miss them.

I'm excited to see The Marvels, mostly because of Kamala Khan. I enjoyed the Ms. Marvel tv series and it's definitely my favorite one so far. I'm not being biased or anything, but it's SO nice to see Muslim representation as I am a Muslim myself. The hate towards her needs to stop. Iman Vellani did such an amazing job with Kamala.

I'm so excited to see the future Marvel projects. Even though I know there will be tons of more hate towards the upcoming projects, no one can really stop it. If only we were able to enjoy movies without overly making hateful comments. Is it always that serious?

Anyway, hopefully this blog post resonates with you and if not, maybe take the time to think and reflect on why you feel the way you do. Like I said, it's not that serious!

Have a great day, lovelies!
